JOB DESCRIPTION:

Wild Things offers a free estimate and consultation so that the customer fully understands the problem and the solution. The removal of squirrels involves an inspection of the entire exterior of the building to locate any entry holes and possible future problem areas. A search for any young or baby squirrels is also done to allow the removal to go smoothly and humanely.  Steps are then taken to repair problem areas preventing any animal from re-entering the building. A special one way door is installed in front of the entry hole that allows the squirrels  to exit the building and stops them from getting back in. Any young or baby squirrels are moved outside to a special heated release box. This is where the mother is able to find a relocate them. A fogging machine is then used to deodorize the nesting area, neutralizing urine and fecal odours that would normally attract other animals to make entry attempts.

WORDS FROM WILD THINGS:

Squirrels are notorious for finding a gap or an edge where they can start chewing. This is the perfect reason to call in the professionals. We not only repair the areas on the home that caused the problem, we also protect other vulnerable areas to avoid future occurrences.

DAMAGE:

One of the most dangerous problems associated with squirrels living in your home is the potential for a fire. Squirrels love to chew the rubber coating on  wiring which has the potential to cause  electrical fires. Because squirrels are rodents, their teeth are constantly growing. This means that they need to chew on things to keep their teeth worn down. As a result, this can cause numerous holes in the roof, drywall, etc. Also, their constant running around in attic spaces, tends to pack down the insulation reducing the homes R-Value or insulating quality.
